Man City’s fans target Man United & Solskjaer with pair of chants

 

The Manchester City contingent in attendance at the club’s meeting with Everton this afternoon have made use of the opportunity to poke some lighthearted fun at cross-town rivals United.

Developments on the red half of Manchester have of course proven headline news across the globe over the last 24 hours.

This comes after the board at Old Trafford finally came to the decision that enough was enough, bringing an end to the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era at the club.

A 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Claudio Ranieri’s Watford proved the straw that broke the camel’s back when it came to the position in the dugout at the Theatre of Dreams, with Solskjaer, in turn, having been sent on his way earlier today:

‘At the wheel!’

And, as alluded to above, one set of fans evidently keen to provide a quick reminder to all associated with Manchester United of the mess that is the current situation at the club are those of cross-town rivals City.

Pep Guardiola’s men are of course currently locked in Premier League action, in a meeting with Everton at the Etihad.

Late in the first-half of action, the scoreline remains goalless, with Ilkay Gundogan having come closest to breaking the deadlock, rattling the crossbar on the half-hour.

The home crowd, though, despite their side having been left frustrated thus far, have nevertheless been in fine voice, directing a pair of humorous chants across Manchester, as showcased below:
