Raphinha’s agent speaks out over Leeds future & Liverpool interest
The agent of Leeds United star Raphinha has, on Thursday, provided an update on his client’s situation in West Yorkshire.
Brazilian wide-man Raphinha has of course continued to grab the headlines of late.
On the back of a scintillating debut campaign in English football – across which he racked up 6 goals and 9 assists in the Premier League alone – the 24-year-old has since gone about lighting up the international stage, too.
After turning the clash on its head courtesy of a game-changing pair of assists on his debut versus Venezuela last week, Raphinha followed up with another standout display last time out, away to Colombia.

With the former Rennes man beginning to showcase his talents on the global stage, in turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of links with some of European football’s biggest clubs beginning to mount.
Fans of Chelsea and more have recently called for Raphinha to be targeted following the turn of the year, as pressure ramps up on those in a position of power at Elland Road.
‘Clubs that like him…’
And, as outlined above, on Friday, a fresh insight has been provided into the gifted attacker’s future.
The info comes courtesy of none other than Raphinha’s agent, who has confirmed that ‘several clubs’ have begun sniffing around his client’s signature.
One such outfit named by ex-Barcelona and Chelsea man Deco as having even gone as far as to make a summer approach are Premier League giants Liverpool.
Speaking in an interview with Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Deco explained:
‘Raphinha became an important player in the Premier League, the club knows he has grown and things will happen naturally.’
‘He is young, he has many challenges ahead, there are certainly several clubs that like him, and Liverpool do like him, there were approaches, but nothing official.’
‘Leeds wanted to keep him for another season.’
